Why I Started Blue Crown
I started Blue Crown because I wanted to build something real while I'm still in school, instead of just working a part-time job for someone else. Pressure washing gave me a way to combine actual manual work I could be proud of with the kind of organization and pricing discipline I was already learning in my accounting classes. Every property I clean is a chance to prove that a college student can run a legitimate, professional business — not a side hustle, a real company with real insurance and real standards.
What You Can Expect
When you book with Blue Crown, you're not getting a dispatcher who sends out whoever's available. You're getting me. I confirm the appointment, I show up on time, I walk the property with you beforehand if you want, and I don't consider the job done until it actually looks right — not just "good enough to collect payment." If something needs a second pass, it gets a second pass. That's the accountability that comes with having your name on the business.
Numbers, Honesty, and Upfront Pricing
Studying accounting didn't just teach me how to read a balance sheet — it trained me to be precise, organized, and honest about costs before I ever pick up a hose. Every quote I send is itemized: you know exactly what you're paying for and why, before I start. No vague "starting at" pricing that turns into a surprise invoice. If a competitor gives you a written quote for the same scope of work, I'll beat it.
Why Gainesville
Gainesville is my home while I'm at UF, and I've watched how hard the humidity, oak pollen, and afternoon storms are on siding, roofs, and driveways here. I take pride in keeping the neighborhoods I live in looking as good as they should — and every dollar you spend with Blue Crown stays in the Gainesville community instead of going to some out-of-town franchise.
Outside of Work
When I'm not washing a roof or sitting in an accounting lecture, I'm usually underwater — I'm a scuba diver who loves exploring the North Florida springs, especially Ginnie Springs and Devil's Den. It's basically the polar opposite of standing on a hot driveway, which is probably why I like it so much.
